ZAMNAC is a group for fellow Zamboanga Del Norte natives living in California, whose prime objective is simply to get together, renew and make new acquiantances and enjoy each others' company. While also organizing charity and fund raising events to help fellow members, and worth while causes back in the Zamboanga Del Norte region and here in the U.S.
The Zamboanga del Norte Association of California held its Induction of officers last Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Almansor Court in Alhambra, and was indeed a very successful event. Attended by more than 200 people who enjoyed ballroom dancing and to the disco music of the 70's.

It was another typical friday night in LA, but for fellow Zamnac member Ricky (Tata) Baes and his fellow band mates, it was Showtime. After a month in preparation Ricky and friends rocked out a performance at a hall inside Eagle Rock Lutheran Church in the city of Eagle Rock.

Zamnac's successful Picnic project promises new Hope
Cooler morning temperature was reported by the weather bureau that Sunday, which made a big difference from the searing heat that recently hovered over LA county. The tragic fires are gone, leaving a trail of burnt houses, acres charcoaled up and sadly 2 fire fighters as casualties.
